Tokenization is an updated version of traditional fractionalized property ownership.
Tokenizing ownership means converting a physical asset such as real estate into several digital tokens; those who buy the tokens then own a portion of the equity in that asset.
Tokenization is the process of creating a virtual token to represent ownership of a real estate interest. Rather than dealing with regular real estate interests in an outdated manner using paper documents, purchasers are able to engage in transactions digitally using tokens.
Tokenization is flexible: a token could represent ownership of the underlying real asset, an equity interest in a legal entity that owns that asset, an interest in a debt secured by the asset, a right to share in profits arising from the use of the asset, and more.
The types of real property involved can also vary widely, including single-family homes, multifamily structures, office buildings, warehouses, retail spaces, and everything in between.

A security token offering (STO) / tokenized IPO is a type of public offering in which tokenized digital securities, known as security tokens, are sold in security token exchanges. Tokens can be used to trade real financial assets such as equities and fixed income, and use a blockchain virtual ledger system to store and validate token transactions.
An STO on a regulated stock exchange (referred to as a tokenized IPO) has the potential to deliver significant efficiencies and cost savings, however. By the end of 2019, STOs had been used in multiple scenarios including the trading of Nasdaq-listed company stocks, the pre-IPO of World Chess, FIDE’s official broadcasting platform, and the creation of Singapore Exchange’s own STO market, backed by Japan’s Tokai Tokyo Financial Holdings.
Another function of security tokens is crypto-fractionalization, where existing assets in the real world are secured via tokenization or securitization. Global real estate assets are worth approximately $326.5 trillion in total while the world’s total market capitalization is estimated at $91 trillion, and technically, these assets can be tokenized.
Tokenization facilitates easier trading of securities, not to mention the lower cost of administration. Paperwork will likewise be significantly reduced or eliminated once securitization is adopted in equity markets.

You control your investment. Log in to your own dashboard, you can sell your tokens at market value, or if you need a short-term loan, then we would be happy to loan 70% of the token value for a maximum term of 12 months with a special interest rate of only 6%.

Convertible notes are debt instruments that include terms like a maturity date, an interest rate, etc., but that will convert into equity if a future equity round is raised.
The conversion typically occurs at a discount to the price per share of the future round. The main benefit of a convertible note is its relatively simple structure.
Convertible note financings tend to be faster, simpler, and cheaper than priced rounds.
Looking at the potential of the tokens to increase in value, investors may choose to sell their tokens on the dashboard to buyers at an increased price value after 12 months.
